Did you recently have an oil change? If it is overflowing from the dipstick area then the vehicle may have been overfilled. This could also mean the engine is pressurizing which is usually caused by a broken or stuck piston ring. Since this vehicle has low mileage then the pistion rings should be fine unless the vehicle has been poorly taken care of.

HI there,

you do get a lot of spray from the cams with the oil filler off, this is normal, but if you are unsure just let a mechanic inspect it and he will tell you that it is normal or not.

To add to what Mark and Blue said.

This is normal when the oil filler cap is removed, it will spray oil just about all over, you may also notice a change in idle.

If you want to be sure, check oil level, have the oil pressure measured with a mechanical gauge.
While it is possible that the oil pump pressure relief valve is sticking, it would be rare on a newer Toyota.
