Hi
I changed my Engine oil in a shop and the shop did not tightened the Oil drain Plug correctly. My wife took the car outside and the car got stopped in the highway. When we took the car to the another mechanic, he said Oil drain Plug is missing and Oil got leaked in to the Engine and Engine needs to be replaced. I took back my car to my home using a Towing service. Can you guide me whether I need to replace the complete Engine or only some parts

Regards

Most of the time, if the engine is run without oil, the internal seizes up, and the entire motor has to be replaced. I would call up the original shop and make them take responsibility.
