I own the vehicle mentioned above but ive got a real problem. I need to scrap the car as I crashed it at the beginning of the year and its worthless at this point. The problem is ive lost the keys and the car is stuck in an underground carpark. The car is unlocked but the steering column is locked and I cannot move the car without steering. Some people have told me that ill have to forceably break the steering lock but ive no idea how to go about doing this. Can anyone give me any help please?

Hi there,

This is not possible, country to the movies you will never break the steering lock by hand, what you will have to do is remove the trim around the lock and drill out the two special bolts that secure the lock to the column, you will see that they have no heads, they are designed to snap off when tightened up as it is an anti theft device, the lock is hardened steel, so there is no way to snap it.
