1999 Toyota Corolla car acceleartes on its own?

Hi, I have noticed that my car starts to accelerate on its own just about when I hit the 45-50 mp. What could be causing this? Is there a way to fix it?

Check the accelerator cable connection to the throttle body, it may be binding or sticking.

Another possibility is a vacuum leak.
