Light on dash came on showing check engine.

Gas cap on tight. Per owners manual could
have been a problem.
Need your advice on repair by owner.

Call local autoparts store and see if they can scan the PCM.
If gas cap is the culprit it should go away after a day or so.

EVAP codes can be gas cap or solenoids, switching valves.

Get codes and let us know.
