The car is throwing 2 codes. Random Multiple Misfire and Cylinder 4 Misfire. It surges very badly and you have to go through the gears to get it to go (automatic tranny). I think it is either bad ignition coils or cam, crank sensor or the ecm.

Hi there,

I would be investigating the ignition system first, if it was a cam sensor it would give a different code as well as the misfire and cams don't give much of a problem at all, I would be looking into the ignition first.
