1998 Toyota Corolla CV joint?

Hi I have a grinding noise in my front end, I had brakes and rotors checked they were fine. When front drivers side tire was put back on friend noticed that it wobbled back and forth when tightened, passenger side front tire did not do this, could this be the problem? If so please help.

Hi there,

This sounds like a failing wheel bearing, have this checked ASAP.

These bearings are pressed in, and as Mark said get this fixed ASAP, or you could sieze the bearing or ruin the knuckle.
