Do I have a CV axle problem?

I am hearing a grinding rumbling noise mostly while maintaining speed. You do not hear it under acceleration or if you press the clutch in noise goes away. Noise is coming from front drivers side. Just noticed about a week ago and seems to be getting worse. Especially loud around 40 mph. Thanks

Does noise get louder when wheel is turned slightly to right? Get less turning left?
