1997 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I just bought this car from someone. The motor has been replaced in it. My check engine light is on and the code comes up for my 02 sensor. I have replaced the back one now I am trying to figure out where to hook the front one up at. The cord is hanging there but I dont know where it hooks into. Can you help me?

Good point by Wrenchtech.

Some years are interchangeable, some are not.

The sensor (upstream) is before the convertor in exhaust header or pipe.
