My fan motor has been making noise and giving off quite a vibration for a few months. It finally stopped working the other day. So now I have no defrost of heat etc. When I turned the fan switch on there is just a quiet hum, like something is still spinning, but not the fan. I was thinking to replace the fan motor. Does that sound right to you? And if so, how do I access it? Thankyou, petokoah

Yes sounds like a bad fan motor, the best apporach is to use car repair manual in this thread or get a Haynes manual.

You will have to remove a portion of dash. After reading procedure, you can decide if it is something you want to do or let a shop do it.
