1995 Toyota Corolla Vibration @110 kms per hr.

Hi,
I just had my car at my mechanics to have a vibration looked at. The car vibrates at 110 kms per hr. Also there is a slight vibration at the time of acceleration, and braking. It has been recommended that I have an alignment done. They want to put the car on a machine that reads out to a computer that will tell them what is wrong. They have checked the front end of the car and have told me it is good. Also the car has a rough idle when in drive (stopped a red light or stop sign). What do you think?
