1995 Toyota Corolla driver side tire

Well, the left side tire it sounds and like its loose but when I checked it all nuts and bolt are in its place
although there is this rod that makes the wheel
turn ( right, left ), it looks like that needs replacement, but how do you go about doing that do you have to replace everything like ball joints and everything, will appreciate your help thnk you

Raise the car put on stands. Grasp wheel on left and right side, ( ign. Off steering wheel locked).

Pull and push on wheel, do the same top to bottom, if any play in tie rod, ball joints they would need to be replaced.

You can remove the tie rod (remove cotter pin and castle nut) using a puller. Scribe the position of the old tie rod to get toe close, but you will have to get toe checked at an alignment shop.
