1994 Toyota Corolla Renewing the front crankshaft oil seal

1994 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

Having trouble removing the crankshaft sprocket from the crankshaft. If fells like glued in! Any suggestions?

Sprocket slides on and off. Try some PB Blaster on it and tap with a rubber mallet.

Worst case, use a small prybar and remove, you will probably break the old one, so make sure you can get one from Toyota before you start.

Had the same problem with a 91 Corolla. Had to pry it off and put a new one on.

Had to break it off. Thank you very much. The replacement part was cheap.
