1994 Toyota Corolla Problem with power steering

I have been hearing a grinding type of sound for a few days especially when I turn left or right. I replaced the power steering pump and the sound has continued. Interestingly, once the car warms up the sound practically disappears. What could be the problem? Please help! Thanks.
