1992 Toyota Corolla rough idle

My car goes off if it has run for more than one hour. It fails to start. Then after start I push on accelerator hard for some time then it becomes normal. The problem does not show when at mechanic. There no vacuum leak. Can it be my fuel pump failing? How to know that ECU is failing. On diagnosis there is no trouble code. It runs rough. Thanks a lot

When was last tune up? (Plugs, wires).

I would also remove and clean the throttle body, over time they get carboned up.

When was timing belt replaced? Inspect timing belt for missing teeth.

Remove valve cover and rotate each cylinder to firing position and check shim clearence, on cold engine intake clearence is.008 and exhaust is.010.

Fuel presure check requires a special tool set.

I would not be concerned with ECM at this point.
