Today again my car failed to start. I checked the spark plug wire while my friend was starting the car. It has very less current. Is it the wire that is not good or the distributor is failing? Once when started it throws lot of black smoke and knock and then become normal. I have changed oxygen sensor and will chnage coolant sensor which has failed. The distrbutor has modules are they replaceable or I must change distributor?

It sounds like it could be a fuel injector but to be sure this guide will help us find it

As BMR said, start with coil. It is internal (inside dist.) And can be removed without removing dist. Another possibility is the ignitor (ignition module).

If the ignitor is bad, you can buy a reman'd dist. W/module cheaper than you can buy the module itself.
