where's the starter

On the firewall side under the intake manifold. Remove the stone shields, jack the car up and put on stands, remove the passengers side wheel. There are two connections one large wire held with a 10mm nut and a plastic connector (pinch tabs to remove).
Starter has two bolts that hold it in place. One faces drivers side, one passengers side.
DISCONNECT THE NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE BEFORE REMOVING THE STARTER ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS.
