I have a 1991 4-door sedan Toyota Corolla DX made in Canada, it has 4-cylinders and a 1.6 liters, MFI engine or model #(4-AFE) It is suposed to have 1991 cold start fuel injectors, and I would like to replace the system and convert it to a pulse injected--wired seperately for a sequential firing order fuel injector system. Is this possible, and do they make an interchangeable fuel line port to install new injectors?

Changing to sequential injection would require a new ECM and wiring harness, and while you may get a few more MPG, the payoff would take a long time.

However, anything is possible, you may have to look at a stand alone SFI sytem. While the aftermarket makes many for American V8's, I am not sure about the Toyota 4AFE.
If you want more HP, the 4AGE would give you about 30 more HP, but again you would have to swap the engine, ECM and wiring harness. The 4AGE was offered in the 91 Corolla.
