I'm Having the strangest problem, When I hit the brakes my dashboard lights and front park lights come on?
also when you turn the lights on the high brake light (on the rear deck) comes on although it does get brighter when you hit the brakes?

Was car in a recent accident, or did you install something electrical, like a stereo?

I did not mean to suggest you did anything wrong.

But I would contact the previous owner and ask if he installed something, or took something out.
It sounds like he rewired something, because these are seperate circuits and would not act like that without a little help from the previous owner :).

If you know what he did, it will help in isolating the problem ( and trust me, he did something).
