Transmission problem
1990 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I had my aunts boyfriend put on my cv axle and now my transmission fluid is leaking and when I back my car up it is making a noise whats wrong with it.

These autos have a separate oil supply for the diff there is a plug on the back of the diff housing, I will take 1.5 lites Dextron 11 you will have to check that the drive shaft oil seals are not leaking.

As Mark said, DO NOT let the differential run out of fluid, or it will sieze.

The axle seals are leaking, use Toyota seals, they are much better than aftermarket seals.
