For my new reconditioned cylinder head, that comes with valves and springs, etc allready installed, can I use my old camshaft on this head? Or the cam followers? What about cam bolts? Etc.
Do you
have the same problem?

Hi there,

You can re use all those parts, but the caution is with the cam shaft caps. As these are machined as a unit, Head & caps, it is a little strange that they have not supplied the original cam bearing caps. The cam will not be a worry as the bolts, just make sure the threads in the head are sound and you torque the bolts as per specs. If the head bolts are torque to yield, they will have to be replaced (no exemption) and all other parts will be ok, just the cam caps are a worry. I would ask the question of the head supplier.
