Hi

well i need a little help whit this car i know have too many years but still giving me a good service well have engine problems,, but still giving me service.

i know i must repair it but if somebody can give me a little help for a while.. i will be thankful for the person who help me in this problem

first of all i having a carburetor problem is like the engine have a noise like i press the accelerator pedal in neutral but i don't do it. the car only do it when i put in neutral , and when i turn off the engine looks like don't want to turn off take a few seconds and the engine shakes AFTER this symptom is for a long time ago the car do this. but i only said this for a consideration when the mechanic read this know the problems i have and giving me more clear a answer.

the question is this one
¿ i wonder why i change too many times the rotor the one is inside in the distributor.? that part giving me too many problems AND the period of duration is two months oR one and a half month?

why the car do this.? is for the acceleration of the engine ..damage that part THE ROTOR when don't want to turn off the engine after engine shake?

PLEASE GIVE ME A LITTLE HELP BECAUSE IS THE ONLY CAR I HAVE FOR NOW?

THANKS

The distributor shaft is probably worn to the point it is "wobbling" and causing the rotor to wear prematurely, OR:

If rotor does not fit on shaft TIGHT, then rotor.

I have a 91 Corolla and have only been able to get a tight rotor fit by using a Toyota rotor.
EVERY aftermarket rotor I have tried was loose. A loose rotor would cause premature wear.

Hii amigooo

well I know and I really want to buy the toyota genuine parts but I must say this in these days wao economics problems no 40 hours jobs.

And in puerto rico all genuine parts have high prices
thanks god I found great deals in body genuine mitsubishi parts for my mitsubishi mirage LS 2001

but in toyota ufff very difficult and I think those toyota stores they don't bring too many parts because high cost in old cars. And the people prefer in advance auto and pep boys and auto zone. To buy the replacement parts just to resolve the problem for a while

but I am whit you in Genuine parts but the money is hard to find even if you have a bachelor degree in a university like me is hard to find a job this days
