Set engine to TDC #1, rotor will be pointing to #1 wire on dist.
Mark the orientation of rotor, pull off cap. Loosen dist. Hold down bolt, remove bolts (there may be two), pull dist. Out, remove old O ring, install new one.
Most Toyota distributors don't have a gear on the dist. So they can be put in only one of two ways, correctly, or 180 degrees out.
