Fuel Cap

I Have a 1993 Celica 2.2L everytime I get gas and I take the cap out it hisses for like 3 seconds. Now I was let to believe this is a bad cap cuz its not venting right and the tank is sucking itself so tight when I open it its rushing air into it. If this is true will my gas tank implode? Or is it pressure rushing out. Or should I buy a new gas cap?

No its not gonna explode-it will collaspe

Sounds like a purging problem check out the Evap system also consider the cap.

Well ty :p. And I did say implode not explode lol but its ok. Ty for responding tho. Greatly appreciated. And by evap system u mean charcoal canister right?

Check the purging solenoid and C/C

Keep fixing it- till it breaks
