Car engine makes taping sound

I have a 200 toyota celica and when I turn on the car and begin press on the gass it starts to make a rattaling sound at low rpms but when I press on the gas and go fast it stops. What could it be.

Hi there,

When was it last serviced. Check the oil level and condition, you may have a oil filter that is draining back and when you start up the oil pressure takes a moment to build up while the filter re fills with oil.
