Hi there,

I will need a little more detail. Will it crank over? If it is cranking is there any spark? How much water was splashed up into the engine bay? Has there been water in the air filter? Is there water in the air inlet hose before the manifold?

A few things to check first.

Hi there,

As long as there was no large ingestion of water into the engine, things should be fine. Pull the spark plugs and clean, if they are black and sooty or wet with fuel, this will make it hard to start.

See how you get on.
