I replaced the catalyct converter 3 times on a '01 toyota celica. My mechanic keeps telling me its a bad converter that are made in china. Is there more to this. Should I look for a better cat. Is it really worth the $$$.
should I get just the cat or is it better replace the complete line with the cat?

many thanks

Hi there,

I would be getting a second opinion on the cat problem, there may be a problem with up stream exhaust leaks, vacuum leaks but just fitting cat after cat is just a waste of time and money, I would find a mechanic that understands your problem.
