The clutch started to give less resistance when you pushed on it and it wouldn't shift into gear, so I filled car with more clutch fluid, but the fluid would quickly drain out again and the car would again not shift into gear. I was wonder what exactly is going wrong with the car?

Hi
There is a problem in hydraulic system. Either master cylinde or slave cylinder is faulty and leaking. Most likely slave on transmission. Look under car on drivers side see small cylinder with boot and rod on side of bell housing. Leaking? If yes replace and bleed.
Hope this helps
