Hi there. My cars oil pressure is stays about midway between the L and the middle of L and H. But when I have my car at higher rpms the oil pressure seems to go up. Do you have any ideas for the cause and possible repair of this? My thought is it might be the oil pump pressure relief valve. But idk. Please help. Thanks

HI there,

I would get the oil pressure tested with a master gauge, as this will give you a true indication as to the engine oil pressure, if the pressure readings are high, I would be looking at the pressure relief valve first.
