Radiator mounting

Having some front body work done on a 96 Toyota Camry SE coupe. Upper tie bar needed replacing or straightening due to being bent in front end collision. Upon inspection of work, there is space where the grooves in the radiator meet with the upper tie bar and they are offset a tiny bit.

How critical is fit between the upper tie bar and the radiator? Should I demand that the grooves fit perfectly or let this slide?

Thanks for any advise.

The fit isn't as critical as the fact that your damage wasn't fixed properly. Thake it back and have it fixed properly.

Losone, thanks for the reply. Are these gaps indicators of the repairs not being done properly? The shop had installed new metal fixtures that fix the radiator to the upper tie bar with rubber in-between, this is where these gaps appeared. Upon making note of this, the shop has since placed the original metal fixtures back on the car. The fit is much better, but, is this indicative of the repairs not being done properly or just the new parts not fitting as good as the originals?

I know it's hard to say without seeing the car in person, so, I’ll probably take it to a dealership to have them evaluate.

Thanks.
