2009 Toyota Camry Not so gentle camry!

Can not move my 2009 camry GENTLY when pushing the gas pedal gently from stop condition. It launches forward rather than a smooth take off. Is the 4 cyl. engine too strong for this car?!!

Hi there,

Is the throttle easy to move or does it feel a bit bound up, mainly from the idle position? these cars do have a bit of get up and go, my partner has one and i sometimes get caught out my self, coming from driving my more sedate Turbo diesel Discovery.
