2008 Toyota Camry Funky Smell

I bought the car not too long ago and when I turn on the A/C it blows out a funky smell. The A/C seems to work pretty good. I thought it was the cabin filter that is behind the glove box. I took it out and it was pretty dirty, and replaced it with a new one. The smell still wont go away. Can you help me?

Hi there,

This may be mold and mildew in the A/C heater ducts, there ate products that you can use to kill this off, and just make sure that the A/C drain is not blocked, start here.

Would the cleaning of the a/c heater ducts be covered under my warranty?

If the problem is due to the A/C drain being incorrectly located and this is easy done when they are installed, I would say yes is should.
