2005 Toyota Camry unable to shift from park to drive

Drove to a parking lot, came back and started car, but was unable to depress the shift button to switch from park to drive, depressed barke, put seat belt on, and nothing. Just had oil changed the day before. If your answer works I will donate

Are your brake lights working? You will have to see if you are getting power and ground to the shift interlock solenoid that is under center console. It is what prevents people form moving the shifter from park to drive when the brake is not pressed.
