Somehow the steering audio controls for my 2005 Toyota Camry are not responding. I have to operate it from the panel.

I tried checking the fuses, but could not find any particular fuse for the steering control. Maybe it is all part of the audio control (which I found and is okay).

All help will be greatly appreciated!

Hi renuraja,

Check the wire connections at steering wheel.

If equipped with Air bags, take care not to turn coil if you remove the steering wheel.

Thank you sir! That was quick! I appreciate it.

How do I check that wiring? Do I have to remove the steering? By the way, any idea if this is covered in Platinum Extended Warranty?

Hi renuraja,

Sorry I am not sure if it is covered under the warranty, you need to check with the dealer.

Check the connectors under the steering, if it is ok, then you need to remove the steering wheel to check. Under it there will be another connector.

Thank you KHLow2008! I guess I should start with the dealership to check if it is covered lest I invalidate the extended warranty. :)

I appreciate your suggestions! Thank you!
