2005 Toyota Camry battery leakage

My battery have acid leakage I try to fix it to clean with a brush and I put a spray for battery corrosion but it keeps coming back and now I deicide to replace the battery and to put the brand nwe one is that a goog idea please answer me thanks Marc

Hi there,

I would be getting the alternator checked for over charging as your battery bay be boiling causing the acid spill, you can clean up the acid with warm water and bi-carb soda solution this will neutralize the acid then flush with clean water.
