I have a humming sound from what I believe is the front of the car. It almost sounds like airplanes engine might sound like. I was in the army and it sounds like a C130 Hercules aircraft engine. Its not overly loud right now but I do notice it.

Is it my wheel bearings and what kind of bearings?

It might be the same problem as mine before. I thought it was the wheel bearing or the the CV axle. Then, it was just my tires. I have Dunlop tires before, making a loud humming sound. I notice the more the warranty of the tires, the more it is nosier. Like tires with 60,000 miles warranty.
I replaced it with cheap radial tires ( China made ), 30,000 miles warranty. Humming sound disappeared.

By the way, my car has 200,000 miles and still using the original wheel bearing.
