Hello, suspension or brake problem?
i hear a rubbing, creaking noise from the rear of the vehicle while driving. Noise is worse on bumpy areas and not noticeable at all on smooth roads. I thought I had something in the trunk that was hitting against the side of the vehicle. I shifted items in trunk first. Then cleaned the trunk out. Noise is still happening. Has been about a week now that I have been hearing the noise. Checked the owner's manual. Had no luck. Your thoughts? Thanks for the help.

It sounds like a suspention issue. Maybe you don't need new struts. They can just be greased with high temp multi-purpose grease. If the struts are good, this will fix the problem
