My camry is starting to shake at speeds over 55mph but only the front passenger side wheel. It causes the whole car to shake horribly and it feels as if the turning is slipping! I bought this car only 9 months ago! It began about 3 months ago (it wasnt obvious at all) but I figured it was the alignment so I bought 4 brand new tires 3 weeks ago and had an alignment done and figured it would resolve the issue, which it did for a short period of time yet it got way worse! I also noticed that when backing out of my driveway when turning while in reverse, I hear a loud "click" noise coming from that side but only when the wheel is turned to the right while in reverse. I dont understand why it could be the front passenger side only. So im thinking I need to replace something but I have herd its the bottom ball joint, control arm, tire rod ends, the rotors (might explain the squeeks from my breaks but im thinking its time for new breaks) wheel bearings and all sorts of assumptions from my boyfriend (not trusting him at all!) But im not sure if any of these would be the solution. Being a 19 year old girl with no idea what this could be, its very frustrating and I dont want to go to a mechanic and be taken advantage of or at least be able to tell them what to look at. I would greatly appreciate some help :) Thank you very much!

My advice to you is to return the car to the place that did the alignment and replaced the tires. Ask them to recheck their work based on the problem. Since it went away, I would expect a relationship with the vibration and the wheels. IF the wheel threw a weight off it would cause this. Even a new tire can also develope a problem. One pot hole can do damage. Not to say there is fault being placed but something happened.

Any decent shop would be willing to look over their work. If no resolve is found post back.
