I noticed a gurgling sound coming from under the steering column right after the car is started and the engine is cold. There are no leaks inside or outside. Coolant and oil levels are fine.
I took it to the dealer and they say there is a leak in the water pump and its sucking air in. I'm skeptical of that explanation.
I'm hoping someone can help.

Thanks,

Hi there,

Thank you for the donation, this noise is air trapped in the heater core, the first thing that should be done is get the system re bleed of air and then have a cooling system pressure test done to check for any external leaks, if the water pump if faulty this test will show it up, start here.
