2004 Toyota Camry Engine sound

I have a 2004 toyota camry with 49k and I just started to notice a scraping / mild grinding sound from in or near the engine. I sounds like it may be on the left side of the motor. The noise jusr appeared one cold winter day and has not stopped or gotten worse since. I have not noticed any change in gas mileage or performance just this sound.

Let's talk about the noise. Is it continuous, while at idle and in motion. Does the noise change in pitch or constant in relation to acceleration. In other word, does it sound faster as you are moving faster, or does it remain the same?

Have you pop the hood open, and try to see where the noise is probably coming from?
