2002 Toyota Camry Problems

2002 Toyota Camry 51500 kilometers. When I take a turn or stop and turn the wheel my car makes a very loud cracking sound and continues while I accelerate, nothing happens while I drive straight. The loud cracking comes from the front left tire and I am not sure what it is and I would appreciate any advice you could give.

I am losone the new Toyota moderator.

The loud cracking sound as you describe is more than likely a CV joint failure. It is not safe to drive the car so have a mechanic check the LF out side CV.

In all probability the boot cracked letting all the grease out and ruining the joint. I know when my joints run out of lube, I crack all over! Good Luck
