Guys

I was told to break my bad habit of pushing the clutch to the floor for long periods of time (such as coasting down a long hill) to get better gas milage. Can this cause problems with my pilot or throw out bearings?

Thanks

Its a bad habit but dont take it the wrong way you can do it and be fine with it
I dont think you have much of fuel saving
engine still running going down hill you have it in gear or not
you have better control when its in gear and using less brake
Going down hill holding the clutch down
stepping on brakes slowing car down
may overheat brakes and slow its respond performance
