2002 Toyota Camry Changing the oil pan gasket in 2002 Toyot

My wifes car has been leaking oil from the oil pan gasket for a while now. My mechanic said it was listed as 4 hours labor to replace. That led me to think it was a difficult job. I contemplated changing it myself but dont know if ill get myself into more than I can handle. Any advice or facts on this problem?

Hi there,

You will have to remove the exhaust engine pipe the long engine mount support splash trays to access the sump, this is a bit time consuming and it will be worse working on the ground, but it is not hard,
