I was pulling my car to one's driveway, but I probably didnt slow enough and both my front and bottom hit the ground on a up n' down road. Then It starts to make an awful sound type of thing. PLEASE HELP! I DONT KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON AND THE ENGINE WAS PERFECT BUT NOW IT SOUNDS LIKE ONE OF THE RUSTY ONES!

Hi there,

You may have damaged the exhaust, I would get a mechanic to check this out as the exhaust is the lowest part of the car and can easily be damaged with what you did.

Hi Sir,

do you know how much it'll typically charge? My budget is really in a bad shape. I really try to avoid things as much as possibe. Is it the muffler issue? I see no oil leaks, no whatever, just when engine rpm goes down, the voice goes down. And I am not sure if my driving belt can take a part in this or not. Thank you for the great advice, and. So dumb of me that I don't even know how to vote! I'll try to vote to support and thanks again good sir!

Hi there,

The muffler sits up a bit high to normally get hit, I am thinking either the cat converter or the engine pipe, both at the front of the engine, a mechanic will see straight away if this is the case, as for cost, we need to know exactly what is leaking as items can vary in price.

The bottom of my car is very low. Tires are 205/65r15 for all of them.

I can foresee muffler getting hit. But I just don't know how can a backup from a dip driveway at around 3 mph can result such damage. I hate to pay money to fix it. UGH. Car is only $4k but repair is going to be way more.

And how important are each of the parts that you mentioned? On a scale of 10 is possible (0=not at all)
