2000 Toyota Camry exhaust smell

My car has developed a very smelly exhaust. I have checked my oil level at 1000 miles since I last changed it and is at the full level. What could be the problem?

Could be several things, such as rich or lean fuel mixture, a faulty catylictic converter, or even worse, burning a little oil or fuel, but usually smoke is accompanied by the burning of fluids
