1999 Toyota Camry noise coming from right front when hittin

While driving down the road&hitting bumps or on a bumpy road I hear a noise coming from right front around the strut area.I took it to toyota&was told most likely it is the strut bushing. They want to replace on both sides the upper mounting plates and a alignment to the tune of $750.00. Would'nt it be cheaper just to take it to a shop&have struts replaced with new mounting plates?

I get so many of these cars from the dealer who just put struts and strut mounts in it. If you have not replaced your sway bar end links yet, that is your problem. These end links fail way before the struts do. Trust me.
