Hi,
Based on the VIN#, I have confirmed from the dealer that my Camry has the "California Emissions" specifications. After the diagnostics I was asked to replace the "A/F sensor Bank1 Sensor 1". The part from the dealer is expensive and I was looking for an aftermarket part made by Denso who is the OEM for this part. Some of the estimates that I have been given from repair facilities are for a ' oxygen sensor compliant with california emissions' and they say that it is the same as the 'air fuel ratio sensor'. Is this true?

Thanks.

A/F mixture sensor is the same as an o2 sensor.
