Hello,

First, thank you. Over the past few weeks when I start up the car in the morning the steering is really tight (like there is no power steering) and makes whining noises when I turn the wheel. After warming up the steering gets easier, however the wheel is very shaky while driving and whining noises still exist when turning. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Greg

Hi greg,

Thank you for the donation.

When whirring noise is present, it is usually caused by air trapped in system and is usually caused by insufficient fluid.

Check the fluid level in the reservoir. If the level is correct, the pump is failing.
