I REBUILT MY ENGINE, I HAVE DONE IN THE PASS A COUPLE OF TIMES WITH DIFFERENT CARS, THIS TIME WITH MY TOYOTA I DID THE SAME PROCEDURE BUT SOME HOW THE CAR IS NOT FUNCTION RIGHT. I TOOK THE CAR TO A COUPLE OF OF "MECHANICS" AND ALL OF THEM THEY TELL ME A DIFFERENT STORY; FINALLY THE LAST ONE TOLD ME TO REPLACE THE ENGINE, BUT I HAVE SPEND ALMOST $2000 ALREADY AND I DONT WANT TO REPLACE MY ENGINE.

WE MEASURE THE COMPRESSION IS 125
WE CHECK THE SPARK
THE DISTRIBUTOR
THE IGN. WIRES
REPLACE SPARK PLUGS
TPS
AND SO ON
AT THIS POINT I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO

CAN YOU TELL HOW TO CHECK THE POSITION FOR THE TIMING BELT AND HOW TO ADJUST THE TIMING FOR THIS CAR.
i REALLY APPRECIATE IT

THANKS

Put the timeing mark on the pulley on 0 the cam pulley has a hole in it. Line this hole up with a line behind the pulley it will be about 1.00 oclock. Release spring for tension. Roll eng by hand back and forth to remove slop. Timeing is set. Sorry don, t have pic. PLEASE VOTE WE NEED YOU
