We are trying to replace a snapped off electric antenna. We can not seem to get the plastic cord with the teeth to be grabbed by the motor when we insert the cable piece as the motor is retracting. Is there another hole the cable needs to be fed into? Should we rotate the cable as the motor is retracting? Where can we find a video on how to replace this antenna?

Turn the ignition key to the OFF position. Disconnect the negative battery cable. To access the antenna, simply remove the trim panel from the interior of the vehicle. Detach the electrical wiring harness from the component. Unbolt the unit. The antenna may have a mounting nut retaining it to the outside of the quarter panel. Remove this nut and retainer to slip the unit out from inside the car. Pull the unit out from the vehicle.

Installation is the reverse to install. Connect the negative battery cable and check component operation.
